The 7th Battalion (1939-45) Association is an Incorporated Association established by servicemen who served with the Battalion between its formation in 1936 and closure in 1946.
The purposes of the Association are to:
- Perpetuate the spirit of good comradeship of former members of the Battalion;
- Preserve the memory and records of those who paid the supreme sacrifice;
- Assist former members of the Battalion and their dependents and maintain contact with dependents of deceased members, and assist where possible;
- Hold Reunions, Memorial Services and parade as members;
- Visit ex-members of the Battalion in hospital or sick at home; and
- Print, publish and circulate such papers or circulars as may be conducive to any of its objectives
