Other information about your relative
This website contains material that may contain references to your relative:
- Our official history not only tells the story of the Battalion and its men but contains many photographs and can be found here. It is worth checking to see if any include your relative. Some men are specifically referred to in the text;
- The Battalion had to keep an official War Diary. Links to this Diary can be found here. Men are rarely mentioned by name unless they were an officer or perhaps if they were injured. Check your relative’s service record for important dates and then look up these dates in the War Diary. At the very least you will be able to put your relative’s movements into the broader context of what the Battalion was doing at that time.
